Community Livability Team

In response to the evolving landscape of policing and the growing need to enhance community livability, the Klamath Falls Police Department established a dedicated Livability Team in January 2025. Initially composed of two key members— (1) full-time Police Officer and (1) Community Service Officer —this team is poised to make a significant impact in our community.

Focused on improving the quality of life throughout Klamath Falls, the team focuses on a broad range of issues, including public drinking, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, illegal camping, trespassing, theft, drug violations, and outdoor burning offenses, among others.

To achieve this, the team employs a blend of enforcement strategies, connects individuals experiencing homelessness with vital resources, fosters strong community partnerships, and engages in proactive, collaborative efforts to identify sustainable solutions.

The Klamath Falls Police Department’s Livability Team will work closely with local organizations to address these challenges and promote long-term positive change for the community of Klamath Falls.
